We Made It

June 17, 2011 by Kevin White

Well after almost 18 hours of travel we made to the city of Cochabamba at 7:30 this morning. It was a long trip but everything went smoothly and the kids did great considering. We had four flights total and each one was great with no delays or much turbulence. Our next to the last flight was from Miami Fl to Santa Cruz Bolivia. We left at 11:00 pm and arrived at 5:30 am to Bolivia. Needless to say we didn’t sleep a whole lot. The kids were a little grouchy but excited about seeing friends here. Grace and Taylor were really worried about not remembering a lot of their Spanish but I think they will be back to normal in a few weeks. They actually left the airport with some friends that used to keep them and have spent the whole day there. Thank you so much for your prayers and please continue to pray as we all adjust to the differences here. We are all tired and a combination of the trip, different climate (It is winter and very dry) and the altitude (almost 9,000 feet) has it affects like headaches and shortness of breath.
