This past week we were able to vist once again the small town an hour or so from us called Irpa Irpa. The people of the church were super excited the first time we visited and it seemed even more so on this visit. We had planned to go with several others from the church but in the end it was only Isaac, Pablo and me that went again. Whereas last time there was only a handfull of people this time there were more than 30 in the service. We had a great time there and it was obvious that it was a great encouragement to them. After the service one of the couples from the church talked with us about having some classes for Sunday School teachers. We hope to plan a time the first part of January to prepare Sunday School teachers and teach them some about discipleship. This small group of Christians need our prayers because the enemy is always on the attack. One of the reasons that the church has suffered so much is because of a cult that came into town called Light of the World. They convinced many of the members of the church to go with them and even took the seats that the church was using. This is obviously shows the great need for solid teaching and discipleship in the area. Please pray for them.
