This past Sunday the Lord gave us a very special day. We were giving a report on what the Lord did the past year in the church and also what we are planing for this coming year. One of the projects that we had was to encourage the people to read their Bibles all the way through during the year. They had to fill out a reading schedule every month showing that they completed their reading for that month. For the ones that participated but maybe didn’t quite make it we gave a special certificate and for the ones that read their Bibles all the way through we gave a study Bible that has the different themes in different colors. It was amazing to see their faces when they received the prize. I pray that it will be an encouragement to them to continue to not live by bread alone but every word that procedes from the mouth of God.
