This past month we had a special visitor here with us from our home church, Kari Aguirre. My wife met Kari a while back in a mission’s conference and spoke with her about coming to visit Bolivia. It was more than a year later that she was able to come and visit us and we are glad that she did. Our desire while she was here was to help her learn as much as possible about missions and the mission field. Karina jumped in with both feet and showed her desire not only to learn but also a willingness to be flexible and help. From the start she showed much interest with some of the young girls at the church and started meeting with them to encourage them in their spiritual lives. She also helped in the children’s ministry and anywhere there was a need. I can say that Kari not only learned a lot while here but was a great blessing and help to us. I pray that the Lord will continue to guide and direct her and use her greatly in His service. If you have thought about visiting the mission field don’t wait any longer.
