Last week we had our second annual mission’s conference in the church and the Lord blessed greatly. Today we gave each person the opportunity to participate in missions by giving out Faith Promise cards for everyone to fill out. At the end of the service we passed out the cards and then explained how to fill them out. After taking them up we were able to count to get an approximate amount of what the church will be giving for Faith Promise. Praise the Lord the total ended up being a little more than 900 bolivianos. You say how much is that. That would be an equivalent of almost $130 dollars. To understand what that would be in American standards the average monthly wage here is 800 bolivianos so it would be a little more than a monthly wage of someone in the states. This was our first Faith Promise Conference. We praise the Lord for what he is doing and pray that we can continue to send light around the world.
