On Thursday and Friday my wife and a lady from our church that is a Nutritionalist had classes for ladies that are expecting and have small children. Here in South America many mothers have very little prenatal care and know little of the dangers of drinking or taking medicines while pregnant. Also with a newborn they have many superstitions about caring for their infant. Like many times they won’t bath them for at least the first three months. Also many don’t cut or brush their hair for the first year. The classes were very informative and I think were a great help to many. We had around five new visitors that we were able to make contact with through the classes. I thank my wonderful wife and the ladies of the church for working to reach people where they have needs.
