This past month we started a youth meeting at the church to help those young people that are coming and to reach out to more in the community. At our first meeting we just announced it to the church and had about 13 show up. At the second meeting we divided them up into two groups one being called to faithful ones and the other called the gladiators. We started a competition between the two groups where they canearn points by attendance, games, bringing visitors and bringing their bibles. As a result of the excitement we have had many new teenagers coming to the meetings and this past Saturday we had 46 people come. That night we had a special speaker, pastor Scott Tucker from the Calvary Baptist Church speaking and there were 19 people that trusted Christ as Savior. Also part of the groups earning points is their attendance in our normal church services. It has truly been a blessing to see many of these teenagers now participating in our Sunday and Wednesday services. Pray that the Lord continues to bless.
