We started a group of meetings this past Wednesday and will be gone through this coming Monday. We have had a good time and have been in some wonderful churches. Each church and pastor has really went out of their way to make us feel at home and been a great blessing to us.
We started this past Wednesday at Meadows Baptist Church in Walnut Cove NC and pastor Craig. It is only about 30 min from our house so we were able to drive back home that night.
Then on Thursday we were at North Laurel Baptist and pastor Wakefield. Bro Tony Howeth was the special speaker. Bro. Tony has been a great friend of ours for some time. It was a blessing to see him and get to hear him preach a tremendous message that really convicted my heart. He is one of the most passionate preachers that I know.
Then on Friday we left for Ga and from there on to Alabama for a mission’s conference at Saks Baptist Church in Anniston with pastor Daniel Harper. Tonight was the last night and it is really sad to leave. We had such a wonderful time and will not soon forget our time here at the church.
Tomorrow the traveling continues and we still have the rest of the week before we head home, so we will update you on our further travels later this week.
